As
mentioned before,
we do not teach
video equipment
operation so
if that type
of training
is required,
we recommend
that it you
secure that
type from a
local college
or from some
tech school
that might be
in your area.
 Our
exams are
open book
exams.
We
do not expect
our members
to memorize
the entire manuals,
however, we
want them to
know where to
look if a question
does come up. Because
the answers
to the examination
questions are
in the “Complete
Guides”,
we expect all
to pass the
final exam
with a grade
of 80% or better.
The home study courses, in addition to the exam, require the preparation of a “proof of performance” video recording. In the case of the CDVS or the CCVS, the video would be of a
deposition. More details will come along with your membership information.
During the live seminars we show many examples of the different types of legal video to give the student a clear picture of the “how to” and the potential for them in the legal video field. Here is one profession where you can have your “day in court” and come out a winner every time. With incomes of $750.00 to $1,000.00 a day for depositions and a $1,000.00 to $2,000.00 per finished minute for documentaries, the cost of the seminar should be back in your pock with your very first contract.
